Privacy Policy

You tell us sensitive things about your finances and your history. We use them to build your list. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with landlords. We never run a credit check.

What we collect

When you fill out our form:

  • Your first name and email address
  • The area you are looking in
  • Whether you are looking for 55+ or 62+ senior housing
  • How many people will live with you
  • Your estimated monthly income
  • Whether you have a housing voucher
  • How you would describe your credit, and your credit score if you know it
  • Whether you have an eviction on record, and roughly when
  • Whether you have a criminal record, what type, and roughly when
  • Whether you owe money to a past landlord, whether it is paid or on a plan, and roughly how much
  • Whether you have pets, and what kind
  • Whether you could get a cosigner or put down a larger deposit

We also collect standard technical information any website receives, like your browser type and IP address.

We do not collect your Social Security number, date of birth, or any government ID, and we never will. We don't need them, because we don't run background or credit checks.

Why we collect it

To match you against landlord screening criteria. That's it.

Your criminal and eviction history are collected for one reason: to rule out properties that would deny you, and to identify properties where local ordinance protects you. We're using this information to work in your favour.

What we don't do with it

  • We don't share it with landlords. Not the properties on your list, not anyone else's.
  • We don't sell it. Not to data brokers, marketers, or screening companies.
  • We don't run credit or background checks. Nothing you enter here touches your credit file or creates an inquiry.
  • We don't report anything about you to any credit bureau, tenant screening service, or database.

How it's stored

Your answers are stored against a randomly generated code, not under your name. We use these service providers:

  • Airtable — stores your submission and our property database
  • Make — processes your submission and runs the matching
  • Stripe — handles payment. Stripe processes your card details directly; we never see or store your card number.
  • Hostinger / WordPress — hosts the website

Each of these has its own privacy policy and its own security practices.

How long we keep it

We keep your submission so you can return to your results and so we can help if you email us with a question.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time. Email us and we'll remove it. Once deleted, your results link stops working.

Email

We email you your results. We may occasionally email you about the service. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing doesn't affect your access to your results.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
